Take Profit Trader, reviewed: daily payouts, one step, and the PRO-plus ceiling
PropFirm Deck · · 3 min
Take Profit Trader built its reputation on one thing: paying funded traders daily, with no minimum withdrawal. Founded in 2021 in Windermere, Florida, it keeps a 4.4 Trustpilot rating across more than 9,000 reviews and runs one of the simpler models in futures funding. The simplicity is the appeal. The ceiling on the split is the catch.
One step, then funded
TPT sells a single-phase monthly Test account. Pass it, hit the profit target while respecting an end-of-day trailing drawdown and a 50 percent evaluation consistency rule, trade at least five days, and you move to a funded PRO account. There is no second phase and no daily loss limit. A 50K Test is $170 a month, a 100K is $330, with a $130 activation fee when you get funded and a standing NOFEE40 code that takes 40 percent off and waives that activation fee.
The daily-payout engine
This is the reason to look at TPT. On a funded PRO account, payouts are daily with a $0 minimum. Not weekly, not a $500 floor, not after a buffer. If you have profit above your starting balance, you can request it. Combined with the no-daily-loss-limit rule set, it is one of the most flexible payout structures in the space, and it is why the firm gets recommended for traders who want to pull income frequently.
The split has two tiers
Here is the honest ceiling. The funded PRO account pays 80/20, not 90/10. The 90/10 split everyone associates with top firms only exists on PRO+, an invitation-based live account TPT extends to traders who have performed, which also switches you to end-of-day trailing drawdown with no resets. So plan around 80/20 as your working split; treat 90/10 as something you earn into, not something you buy.
The rules to know
TPT restricts news trading and requires positions flat by 5:00 PM ET, with no overnight or weekend holding, so it is a pure intraday firm. The evaluation consistency rule is 50 percent, which is on the looser end and applies to the Test only. Resets on the Test are cheap at $100, but resets on a funded PRO account are size-tiered and expensive ($449 to $1,499), so treat a funded account as the real thing, not a practice run.
The read
Take Profit Trader fits an intraday trader who wants to get paid daily with no minimum, likes a clean one-step path, and is comfortable at an 80/20 split unless and until PRO+ comes calling. Use the NOFEE40 code to take 40 percent off and skip the activation fee, budget for the monthly subscription until you pass, and do not blow a funded account casually given the reset pricing.
