THE LEDGER
27 ways to buy a 50K account, from $49 to $747
PropFirm Deck · · 2 min
The 50K account is the center of gravity in futures funding — 27 of our 103
tracked plans sit at that size. Lined up by price, the field runs from
Topstep's $49/mo to Elite's $747 one-time. Here's what each extra dollar
buys.
The value tiers
Under $100/mo — the entry tier. Topstep Standard ($49/mo) and Alpha
Futures Premium ($79/mo). Both EOD drawdown, both 90% splits, both carry a
$149 activation and a 50% consistency rule. Cheap to start, more rules to
respect.
$100–$200 — where the rules loosen. This is where the interesting
trades live:
- Fastest payouts: MyFundedFutures 50K Rapid ($157/mo) and Tradeify
Select ($165 once) both pay daily. - No consistency rule: Tradeify Growth ($145 once) and Alpha's Zero
Evaluation ($119/mo) drop the consistency rule entirely — one big day can
be your whole target. - No activation, one-time fee: Lucid Flex at $149 once means the sticker
is the total.
$200–$500 — the 100% split tier. Elite Trader Funding and Apex price
higher but pay 100% profit split (Elite's 1-Step at $197/mo, Apex's
50K evals at $249–$450 once). Note which drawdown model you're buying:
Apex's cheaper variant is intraday trailing.
$500+ — skip the eval. Tradeify Lightning ($492), Lucid Direct ($520),
and Elite Direct to Funded ($747) are instant sim-funded: no evaluation,
payout-eligible immediately, usually with a tight consistency rule (20%)
as the counterweight.
Three ways to choose
- Optimizing cost? Topstep $49/mo — but do the activation
math first. - Optimizing payout speed? Daily payers at 50K: MFFU Rapid, Tradeify
Select, Take Profit Trader. - Optimizing freedom? Filter for no consistency rule — 22 of 103
plans have none.
